Studio Channel Islands Art Center (SCIAC) is proud of our Volunteer and Docent Training Program . Our Docent Group, "The Merry Medici's" receives on-going training and instruction on technical and artistic aspects of our exhibits. During the opening receptions and gallery tours, Docents guide our visitors through the galleries enriching their experience.

Future events for the docents and volunteers will be presentations by noted artists and art historians as well as field trips to galleries and art venues. Volunteers and Docents will be needed for future exhibits, including the Art & All That Jazz event in August. On-going Wednesdays through Saturdays, 12-3pm.
