She has work in the Conference Instructors Exhibition at the Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown and in Seven, the juried Conference show at the Castle Hill Gallery in Truro, MA. Anette Power is one of 12 artists invited to the Plein Air Master’s Exhibit at Studios on the Park in Paso Robles.   The exhibit runs from May 23 – June 30, 2013

She also participated in the Plein Air Quick-Draw at the Paso Robles Festival of Arts on May 25th, 2013 and received an award of excellence from Jean Stern, Art Historian and Executive Director of the Irvine Museum.

“Lead Crystal Blue Bird,” one of three of Bob Privitt’s sculptures included in the “Essential Elements” exhibition hosted by the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley. Located at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 W. Hillcrest, in Thousand Oaks, the exhibition will continue through December 17.  Artists’ Reception November 10 from 4-6 p.m.

The Value of Water” is the name of Roxie Ray’s solo art exhibition. Please join her for the artist reception Saturday October 13 from 4-7 PM at the Buenaventura Gallery located at 700 Santa Clara street in downtown Ventura. The show continues through November 3.

 

 

 

 

Daggi Wallace’s painting “Intermission” of New Orleans street musicians taking a break has won the Maryland Pastel Society Award at the Pastel Society of America’s 40th Anniversary Juried Exhibition at the National Arts Club in NYC. With this latest award she now has achieved Master Pastelist level with the PSA, a long held goal and dream come true!

The painting was also selected to be part of the PSA show at the Butler Institute of American Art in December-January 2013.

 

 

 

MUSEUM OF VENTURA COUNTY

 

BiJian Fan installed two dragon sculptures at Museum of Ventura County included in the exhibition,  Hidden Voice: the Chinese of Ventura County,  September 1 – Nov. 25, 2012.  He will also lecture on paper art at the museum, 2pm on November 18, 2012. Congratulations to Christine Leong and BiJian Fan for being selected as featured artists at the Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival at the Museum on September 8, 1 – 4pm.
