The Studio Channel Islands Art Center family was deeply saddened last year by the unexpected loss of two of its members.  Michele Depuy-Leavitt, Gallery Director for five years passed away in November.  One of our Artists-in-Residence, and active member, Dr. Marty Silverman, died in July.  Each of them had contributed much to SCIART, and their loss is deeply felt by all who knew them.
